I have a 94 accord

I want to install a sub, I have a JL 500.1 and was looking into the 10w6 or 10w7. I want so major punch I listen to metallica, avenge sevenfold, mudvayne, alittle Van Halen, stuff with little or no real low bass.

I recently had an Avalanche with 2 10w1v2 with the 500.1 and was punchy but not as I was hoping for. I know want to know which would be better for my needs. SQ over SPL always

If you like JL, the W6 should work perfect. The W7 is obviously a bit of a louder sub, but probably won't reach its' full potential off a 500/1.

DD's in 40hz enclosure might be for you then. They are good at that, real low bass, not so much
