Ok so i was thinking about upgrading i just got my old system sold and. iv got 700 to spend on my new system that includes amp and box. i cant decide whether to go with two Type R 15s or a 18.im really looking for a daily driver that will get loud and low, and my demisions to work with is about (39Wide,31Deep,16High)and im probably going to go with ported and what would be a good amplifier to push it all.What would you do with 700 what Subs,And amp

An 18....but there is no way to get an amp and the 18 for 700 unless they are used.

The 18 hits the lows like no other.

they should all hit low if put in the right box. But if ur going with an 18 ur choices are gonna be limited. 2 15s will give u a variety of options

I'd think that a single 18 would be cheaper than a pair of 15s

Find an 18 Q

Find an amp in the classifieds on here that puts around 1300 rms

Find a box on here for sale or have somebody make it to the Q specs

that's a good idea, probably won't do the rated 2500 tho, but for the price who gives a shit.

i was figuring the same thing, tho he does have a decent amount of depth to work with.

To the OP, 2 15s or 1 18 will both require quite a big box. Not too sure if u would have the dimensions for them, unless u go sealed
