You deadened the whole cab or just the back part?

Reduce entire car flex using proper application of cld ccf and mlv. including floor and roof will dramatically reduce vibration and flex around the window frame

Video please. I wanna see this happen. If that factory windshield can crack that easy there is 2 problems. Honda elements had a issue with people driving down the road and the whole windshield would web up and crack. Something to do with being pressed in to tight from the factory. The other would be the cheapest made windshield ever made which how would that be allowed to even be on a car through testing. I mean someone could fly right through the windshield with ease. I'll do a search for ya buddy.

Seems from few searches. That they have pretty lousy windshields, most people say it started with a small chip and then just cracks all up. So could be true. If you have had a chip somewhere and then played some dj magic mike. We'll crack.

I'll be the one to verify it happens. I know him and work with him everyday. The roof flexes like crazy. And when the windshield cracked there was no chips and it was a brand new windshield. Now he's all freaked out to get loud. My suggestion was to brace it or just always ride with the windows down. I'm not saying he's doing any major numbers but the roof flexes on the lowest sound level

He needs to brace the roof then. Deadener isn't going to stop flex. It'll reduce it, but it makes MUCH more sense to try and brace the roof. Just some very thin but stiff wood siliconed to the roof is likely to be more effective at stopping it than deadener will. Deadening is great for minor rattles and buzzes, actual flexing, not so much.

I'm not saying my car is loud I'm saying it has to much vibration travelling through the roof(5-6 foot roof). All I was asking was how to stop it. Not for y'all to be *****

easiest and most efective way to stop flex brace and deaden the entire car

If you want to get loud like that, change the car. That car is way too small for what you have, or just play with the windows down.

Really? That's "impressive"... You think he has some magic l7 that can crack a windshield when guys with 5x the power and speakers can't do that.. It just means he has a terribly built car and is NOTHING to congratulate. Bet you like to ******* to youtube videos of guys breaking their 1992 Toyota too lol. Flex does not mean it's loud, car damage does not mean it's loud..

No need to jump down my throat broski. Just complimenting his system. Typically I hear of broken windshields as being a result of high dbs, but I suppose I was wrong, my apologies. But, I actually don't watch flex videos and I hate the fact that my xB flexed so much, which is actually why I took out my whole system and am going to deaden the living hell out of it before I get anything put back in. Flex=lost dbs in reality right? I'm not a complete moron. I just think some people on this site need to cool their jets and not get their balls in a bunch when someone says something "wrong". You wonder why this forum is dying. Some of you are *****, no way around it. Sorry again though. Have a nice day.
