thats VERY respectable and i would be happy with that.. aero or slot ported?

do two RD Heavyweight 10's (or12's) on two RD D9 amps , your gonna need some electrical to back it , but you have some nasty *** 10's or 12's i would do tha 12's since your cabin is pretty big .. ..

May do 12s.. link to the D9 amps plz man? never researched them..

i will have the electrical.. that will be purchased before i install more than 2k watts.. im prolly gonna do 3-4 dekas or 1-2 northstars, powermasters

ok dude...you are comparing trunk cars to wagons...trunk car will be easier to pressurize than a wagon will be since the trunk can be used as one big box and sealed facing into the cabin...you are going to need a pallet of mdf, tons of power, and a tl...test build test build and test build until you get what you want...and only way to have both high numbers and low daily is to do interchangable ports.

i said my OLD setup in the trunk was pretty loud.. but not low.. im not so sure you even know what you are talkin about.. its basically a freakin SUV.. call it an SUV..i have seen small setups do decent in a SUV.. so im not sure where your going with this Pallet of MDF and other grocery list of shit you named.. i didnt ask to do a bedcut in a goddamm dumptruck..

i was thinking interchangable ports/ just go 36hz tuning since anything north of 145 will prolly win me 1st place sound comp

yes i dont know what i'm talking about i only have a good friend who has the same danm car who has 4 12's in it...and we've gone from wall of 5 12's to a box of 4 12s with sub up/port back...but he's doing 5x the power you wanna put to 1-2 10s...and is looking for a 155....doing what you want is gonna take a lot of testing...hence the pallet of mdf..and a tl is a termlab which is what most sanctioned events use to measure the spl of the car.

how the hell will 2 10s ever use a pallet of MDF? im not lookin for 155db on 5 12s.. im lookin 145+ with a goal of 150.. any box builder worth knowing can properly build and tune a box.. with a easy remove port and top for testing length and tuning.. i have tested and tested on my old setup.. nothing new there..and yes i knowwhat a TL is.. only meter worth posting your results from..

so this guy is doin 15-25k watts on 4 12s in a magnum??

Building a box and tuning it is the easy part. But the pallet of MDF is going to come in handy cause you're not going to see the numbers you want off of just one box. Your gonna have to build several boxes to get the numbers you want. This is where your going to need access to a Termlab and plenty of time to build, then test, then rip it all out and start over with another box, then build again and test again, over and over and over. I know guys that will go through 10 different boxes in just one season trying to get louder. if you've never built for this wagon before you have no clue what box is going to work. You have no idea if subs up and ports back will work best, if subs and port back are it, or subs up port to one side or the other. Or even subs in two different directions and the port a different direction again. I can do 150 with my two 10's in my Blazer on just over 2K, and I built at least 6 boxes to get this number, and probably 80-100 hours worth of build and testing time. If your serious about getting a 150 on two tens then you better expect to do the same.
