Haha, thanks for the encouragement. I already installed everything else and it works perfectly. 2way comps in front, 6x9 rears, HU, deadening, even a relay (lol). Not going to pay someone to install it when I can (more or less) figure it out myself.

Did you replace a wire that was already going from the positive terminal to whatever it is you connected it to? If so, you probably connected to the starter... the line you wanted to replace you can trace from the positive terminal to the fusebox and from there to the alternator //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
