well i had my mind set on a pair of HD3 15's now i reallt dont know, but nowi started looking at the

1. memphis mojo-heard they was loud as hell and sounded muddy.

2. MX-havent heard that much about those but sound good

3. xxx-heard they sound good but just cant hit the lows like the MX can

4. SI mag-heard that they sound good with greaat output

im looking for a sub that sound good and can also hit hard like a spl sub which sub do you think i will be more than pleased with

The subs that most interest me currently are the D6/D9's, IDMax, Magnum, XXX (new and old), old Brahma's (*sigh*), W7/W6's, Avalanches, errr.... what am I making this list for again?

Dude, there's a crap ton of super nice subs out there. Just do like everyone else, become a blind follower of one random brand name and defend it profusely on the boards.

well you have a gazillion options man, a few I forgot to mention are T3 audio, TC sounds.

From what I can gather from my team captain the DD 99Z is a MEAN mofo of a sub, and in your price range, but the T3 audio TSNS and TSS are also LOUD freakin woofers, basically the final decision is on you, we can tell you 1000 different things to do.

If I had your money I would probably buy a pair of T3 audio TSNS 15s or 18s depending on what was available, and a pair of atomic/rd audio/cactus 7k amps to power them.

The DD 99Z retails for $5k if Im not mistaken. That is not within his pricerange. Its also not meant as a daily driver system sub either.
