Oh by the way, there was the piece of brown paper inside of the amp. It's sticky on one side and just plain on the other. I took a pic of it.



Anybody know what that is? That's where it was when I popped off the case, sticky side down for what it's worth.

I wouldn't hesitate buying another of these if I had the money right now. This amp was great and put out amazing power for being $500. Plus it stayed cool and never complained. I think this is a manufacturer's defect though. My electrical never dipped below 12.7, and with the volume it was on at the time it was well over 13.

Looks like a piece of wood in the pics, but it's just like a sheet of paper, but sticky on one side. Kinda like those mouse trap pads, ahha.

There is where my friend (apocalypse boy) first noticed a slight burn mark.

No, bought it off some random store when the GP3k's were in drought from july to september. I needed it around august so I had to find it from someone else. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

No warranty besides a 14 day return against shipping damage / manufacturer defect.

It's definitely been more then 14 days. Bought about 2 months ago.

It looks to be just that one from the picture.Might have had a broken/damaged leg on the FET and it finally gave out.

It would be a relatively easy fix, but with those fet clips and the way the board slides out of the heat-sink like it does would make it a total PITA!
