i just bought my new eD nine.1 for 330 bucks on ebay fromt the eD offical site seller. and i have to run my subs at 2 ohms and not 1 ohm becuase there not d4.........should i send this back and buy the pg xenon1200.1 beucase it can run 1200 watts at 1,2, or 4 ohms. what do u guys think also i might switch out my diamonds and buy kickers if i can sell them....so should i keep the nine.1 or send it back and get the xenon. thanxs alot

you could buy 2 of the amps in my sig //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. dirt cheap. I doubt you'll be able to get a full refund if you even get any refund on that amp. If that is the case I may me interested in working out some sort of deal possibly.

its by elemental design they will refund my money......but i mean i was just wondering and i dont want ur diamonds. i had 2 amps running 2 subs and didnt like it that is why i upgraded to the nine.1

IC, first off are you getting new kickers? if you havent already got them why do you need a different amp? If you do have them already I'd prolly go with an mtx 1501d or 1000d, maybe RF power bd1000 or 1500.

I fail to see how you "got screwed" because YOU chose to buy an amp that wasn't ideal for your particuliar application?

X2...

Id know what I was buying before putting down $330 on it.

Anyway, a lot of people have ran their 9.1 at 1/2 ohm with no problems.

Easy, he screwed himself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif .... you're not screwed if you are changing subs and haven't bought the new ones yet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

i havent bought the new ones yet guys but i will be as soon as i sell my diamonds.... and really i can run my nine.1 at half ohm daily. and anyways i have done built my amp rack for my nine.1 so im just going to keep it and it looks kick a$$ anyways and it will be running my diamonds about 500 watts rms so thats pretty good well better than what i had so i think it was a good chose and i am getting kicker L7 at dual 4 ohm so i can run it at 1 ohm

Thats what I'd do as well. You're gonna need to "help" your hearing as much as possible before you get the 2 squares anyways //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

oh well and as for the name it is off a rodney carrington cd that i have so i thougt it would be funny to put it as the name. but i dont think i got screwed and there is no way in hell i can get the xenon for 330 bucks shipped to my door more like 380 and i dont have the dough for that. and the nine.1 is rated at 12 volts and my car does more like 14. so thanxs for ur input anyways

That nine.1 will put out a solid 1000 watts rms into 2 ohm load. Assuming you have 2 diamond cm312s, that's 500 wrms a sub, which is perfect for that sub. I don't understand why you got screwed, when in fact, you made the perfect decision. The Nine.x amps are rated at 12.5 watts or less, so in car output is always going to be better than the paper specs. Sort of refreshing isn't it?

On a healty electrical system the Nine.1 will do:

~500 wrms @ 4 ohm

~1000 wrms @ 2 ohm

~1500 wrms @ 1 ohm

All at below the rated THD%

These power ratings came from an independant party test.

thanxs guy i know i didnt get screwed lol it was just off of a song so i used it as the name but i have allready built my amp rack and it fits the nine.1 and my diamond perfect and as soon as i sell my diamonds with the box im buying a sheet of 3/4 mdf and building me a new box with 2 kicker L7 and does any one know how much a sheet of mdf cost. or could i just use ply wood. thanxs a lot
