He demo'ed it, I grabbed it out of his trunk, put it in mine, drove 5 miles, took the sub out of the box to check what ohm the voice coil was and hooked it up to find out it wasn't playing right.

I ment in between that and the VC, you'll have to pop the dust cap off to confirm anything though.
It could've broke right after he was done playing it.

How would I go about the "popping off" of the dustcap? I could just glue it back on right? if he doesn't give me my money back im gonna end up doing it anyways, could care less about cosmetics.

Yeah the subs ****ed up, tryed it in my buddys car with the same result, doesnt play unless pressure is applied to the cone. How would I go about taking the dustcap off to inspect?
