He wore jeans and a exorbitantly bright orange Puscifer sweatshirt.
hahaha. Whenever they started jambi and the flames were going on, on those screens in the background....he grabbed the mic and pulled it towards him but held his hat up in the air like he was riding a bull. It was classic.

I saw tool at the Fox Theatre for the warmup tour in 5th row. Tickets for that were gone in ****ing seconds. Then again in ok seats at The Palace. Hopefully I can get to see them one more time on juily 2nd/3rd but I have to save up to move and not sure if I'll have the money for a ticket.

ditto

and Right in Two is definitely a gorgeous song, though i'm in love with Wings for Marie & 10,000 Days, so the combination of smoke, lighting, and lasers was just extraordinary. The same goes for Lateralus possibly my favourite Tool song ever.

I don't care for the first part but I love the second part. Brilliant song. Yeah they ended our show with Lateralus....love that song as well. "Swing on the spiral."

"I embrace my desire to, I embrace my desire to

feel the rhythm to, feel connected

enough to step aside and weep like a widow to,

feel inspired to, fathom the power to,

witness the beauty to, bathe in the fountain to,

swing on the spiral to, swing on the spiral

swing on the spiral of

our divinity and still be a human. " Tool - Lateralus 5:22 - 6:42

Absolutely amazing - every emotion in life portrayed in those lyrics - amazing...

i must see them again...

One of my freind saw them at Bonaroo and brought back some opium //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I haven't listened to Tool alot but i noticed their lyrics are really deep and out there and really make you think and when you listen to their songs it takes ya on a journey, i think they're the only band with their songs that does that for me.

i saw them last tuesday on the 19th in cedar rapids. the best **** show i'd ever seen, though maynard was keeping back in the shadows most of the night, he rarely came out right in front of the audeince..
I was at that show as well, it was badass. I was also at the one in Council bluffs on May whatever. Oh and last September I saw them in Minneapolis. All three shows were ****in sweet.

Yeah it kinda sucks Maynard likes to stay at the back in the shadows but meh, whatever he is a god amongst men.

I agree...the people that write them off to early don't understand or read between the lines with Maynard's lyrics. He really does have some amazing lyrics, you just have to understand what he's trying to say to fully appreciate the work.

Saw them last night...whooooo...I just got a drum set recently and have been trying to play some simple beats...I don't think I looked at anything other than the drummers hands last night....NASTY, so impressed by the drumming...and maynard wore the same getup as someone else had mentioned, bright orange sweatshirt and cowboy hat...very impressed, one of the best shows I've seen in a long while...

did you like the lazer show?
I would have enjoyed it better if I would have had some different seats. That's the bad thing with having those real close seats my friend and I had is we had to strain our necks to see the light show.......I could tell it was awesome but I would have rather had a better view of the whole setup.....but from what I could see it was badass. I was more impressed with how the stage was setup really then the lightshow.
