i put the pieces together and this is what i got.

It will not last him 6 years it will be outdated within a matter of months not years. I doubt he has sli 570's for anything other then gaming.. Sure they can be used for other things but mostly just gaming. Nice rig for sure.
Just because something's outdated doesn't mean it blows up or spontaneously combusts when it's outdated. That rig will LAST, keyword last, years easily. In the computer world sure it'll be outdated in a month, even when new/better parts come out and new games it's likely that rig will be able to play them on high or even max settings. I built my last personal gaming rig 5 years ago and I'm just now getting around to building a new one, since then I've added HD space and did a memory upgrade, and it still plays modern games on low/medium settings. I know it's nothing to brag about but I'm just saying it'll last him a good while considering hardware out right now takes about anything you throw at it.

ok here is a major fking deal.. check this out:

Could just ductape em all together, should work fine =P

thats cool and all but woth 2500 bucks i could buy a decent used car and it would be more practical on all levels....unless that thing can fly.
Really depends what you do... To those who do a lot of webdesign / video editing / etc, it can be invaluable.. especially if that's their job.

To those who need help sending an email, maybe not.

Reviving dead thread... Hows it been runnin?

Did a build a month or two ago for a client, 2600k clocked at 5.0Ghz (Had it at 5.3 on the bench but took a substantial jump with vCore to get from 5 to 5.3), had 16gb of memory clocked at 2200MHz with the 5.0 too which can be difficult, as well as 240gb PCI-E SSD with R/W Speeds of 1500MBps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
