I plugged my UL12 into the wall today

I thought what the hell, why not.

I plugged it in directly to the wall socket today, it took it but started smelling like hell after 30 sec or so.

110v I measured 54 amps so the way I see it it was getting 5900watts or so. Or am I calculating this wrong?

not bad IMO for a puss of a sub as so may people assume it is.

I packed it up for my move, but I may unpack it and take a video tomorrow.

Thats nice, It isn't for sale. I plan on putting the screws to it in the next couple of months to see what a UL12 will actually take and put out. I have had way to many and not actually pushed any of them near their limit. So this one is going to the grave, it is simply a matter of when and how long it will hold out

Why not, is a better question. it is billed as a super sub, that can take 5kw, well lets see, thats my thought

Speaking of, I jsut boxed that thing up today, and the tweet pods. I hope to get them out tomorrow. I am moving back to Cayman and need to clear out the garage and the rest of the house for that matter. So I guess I am forced to finally follow through with my off:laugh:

You can feel me can't you. It came to me when I was boxing up all my shit that I have accumulated over the past 8 years, when the frustration of losing everything, made me focus in on the infamous UL12, and yep I had the "FVCK IT" moment. You got to love those.
