right now i own a kicker zx200.4 for my speaker amp. my filters are just off low and hi. thats it. would i notice anything if i got a better more adjustable amp? would it be worth it to even buy a new amp. i have diamond audio 6 1/2" componets.

there should be a knob that adjusts the high/low pass frequencys.....

If I recall its right on the top/front where it says kicker...

no, its only a switch, hi lo and off.

well you can use hi for your highs and the off position for your mids with x-over to the mids or get rid of it and get a different amp with more control

most 4ch amps i see has x-over switch for front and rear channels. in your case i would set it to off position so that should be full range and run passive x-overs for your mids/highs.
