Well i am seriously regretting buying my 9855, it sux. So i need to get something else. but i dont know what. i want something around the same price (i paid $320 i think). i was looking at the 8500 and 850mp, but neither have a pause button. you may think thats stupid, but ive been using a 550mp for some years now, and it has no pause button, you hafta go through the functions to pause it, and its SOOO annoying. also, deck must play mp3/wma, have 24-bit DAC, 3 pairs 4V (minimum) preouts. ok, gimme some suggestions...

whats wrong with the 9855? I love mine. I only use the ipod section of it but still. I set all the eq's and now i just have genre playlists to choose from.

the sq sux *******. and its a ***** to get through the features. im looking at an eclipse now

well the sq was leaps and bounds above my panasonic Tv HU, so i can't comment there. What's so hard about scrolling through the features? I guess i don't go through the menu;s enough. i just pick a playlist and skip through songs with the remote. I do like last year's alpines better, especially the fact that you can scroll with the knob but i HAD to have the ipod input and i just liked the alpine more than the pioneer.

yeah, its sq sux compaired to pioneer. and getting through the features is a real pain

Perhaps the 9835?

I know I couldn't stand the Glidetouch if I had to deal with it on a daily basis...but the more "traditional" Alpine layout seems to work well...

i guess im on the "alpine bandwagon"....i sold my alpine and bought the eclipse, now i want an alpine. preferance i guess.
