I need suggestions on the system Im thinking of doing...

I got a 1997 2 door tahoe. I got a Alpine HD137BT. As for subs and sub amp..I got a US Amp USA-2000 that im getting fixed and my friend is selling me a NIB 15 inch FI BTL-N3.

Now here are my questions...

1) Will that amp/sub combo work?

2) Im still debating on what to do for components. I have 4x10s in the rear...but those arent going to be a factor. I can put a 6.5 component set in the front. Will that be enough?

My wife has that same head unit and I would amp the 6.5's and 4x10's. The alpine 137bt just doesn't have the power to push aftermarket speakers like it should.

That's why alpine made a ext plug and play amp for there head units. Lol

Don't get me wrong it's a great head unit but lacks power for the speakers.

Well I was going to buy another 4 channel amp. I guess it looked like i was just going to push the speakers with teh head unit...that was not my intention. Im just wondering if the 6.5 component will be loud enough.

Forget the rear speakers. Unplug them and amp the components.
