I am looking at a few new amps to power my ed 6500 componets. JL 300/2v2, US Amp XT-1600.2 and RF T 600-2. I need a footprint no bigger than 14in X 10in.

The RF is 200x2 @4 and will give me the most headroom for these comps. I have heard alot of good things about the US Amps, the xt 1600.2 is there entry level and within my price range. Looking to spend about 350 to 400.

Anyone have experience with these amps? Any input would help.

I will check out some old school amps. In the mean time can someone give some input on the amps I listed pros, cons.

Im looking to put the amp under my seat and out of the trunk. Sacramento area summers, 110+.

The comps are running off an Alpine head unit. I have a mdf baffles and one layer of deadener on the doors. I need to go back in and do another layer. Ill be sealing up the door skin openings.

For my lows, I have a sealed ed13k, dual 4 ohms, running off a small alpine mrp350. I may be adding another ed13k I have, then looking for 1200 rms sub amp.

For now, Im cool with the one sub and want to find a nice amp for my comps.

I just want to make the right amp choice with no regrets and figure that this is the right place to get some answers.

Can you help a brother out?

Thanks
