Got the passenger side bottom part done today, and started to try and aim the baffle.

Well, on that side of my truck, the airconditioning ducts are pretty low under the dash, so I have to keep the baffle flat enough to clear it. Other problem is mounting depth, as if I put it to flat I cant get the speaker in there.

Well, I finnaly got it mounted where the kick fit and the speaker fit, but the imaging doesnt look, to my eye, very perfect.

I tryed to aim at the headrest, but the closest I could get it was about 6-8 inches infront of the headrest, which I guess is actually more where your head is.

How important is a few inches? I hope not to important, because its the only way I can fit it.

Second question is, should I do the driver side the same as the passenger side, or should I try to aim the drivers side more toward the headrest?

Actually, sir, I have been instructed that in many cases it is alright to aim the speakers a little in front of you, like, say, 3-4 inches in front of your nose in the position that you would normally take in a seat.

This is how my setup is, but I am not completely finished with it, as I may have some phasing to fix and my tweeters still need mounted in a finite location.

To answer your question, so long as both sides are pointed at the same spot on opposite sides of the car, I think you're golden.
