i need some help on an idea for subs!

ive currently got two sundown e8v3's and i thought about getting 4 more. these subs are very cheap and i have the room for 6. it would help for your input on amp ideas 2nd batterey? box designs.and would these be louder than sayy 3 12's? or 1 18?

although im sure the e8's are decent for the price, i wouldnt dump more money into more entry level subs. if you are going to spend the money on 4 more why not sell the 2 you have and put all that money torwards say 2 sa12's or sa15's.. pleny of other options out there for good subs if you dont want to stick to sundown.

you really dont see alot of people do builds with 8's and i thought it would be pretty neat to do. would they get loud?

yea they can get loud (enclosure plays a big role, i'd talk with Buck on this site about that part). if you are really into the 8's then maybe bump up to a couple sa8's, little more power handeling and dang those lil buggers look bad arse.. nothing wrong with bangin out a couple 8's and making people ask "how many 12's do you have in there?" only to laugh and show them what is really there.

Nobody has yet just the company owner and a few close friends. The 3inch coil is useless on it since it jumps gap at 1200w but for 600w it would be fine. I personally would wait for a few reviews.

And op the e8s can definitely get loud especially when you have six of them. People don't give them alot of credit due to the sa8 taking all the glory. The sd2 8 would work great as well and has a bit more Xmax and power handling

4 of these will probably be a lot louder than 6 e8's, this is true that these babys just arrived in port but jacob fuller (sundown owner) is getting involved on the bigger subs Threatcon 4 and if If you ar ein the shoes of Jacob i dont think you will have anything do to these subs unless you see good potential and are you really going to throw 1200w on these subs? these are rated at 600w but tested up to 850w conservatively, and I dont think you will find a sub for the price $129 new and shipped free.
