I need some advice/pointers

whats up everyone, im new to this forum and to the sound system shyt. im getting like a 97 jeep cherokee and i want to put a nice system in it. i was reading a lot of posts on this forum and looked at a lot of videos on the realmofexcursion website and i like the alpine type r's,kenwoods,lanzar opti,the pioneer and the RE xxx series. i listen to a lot of rap and stuff like that.

i think i want my setup to be 3 12's or 1 15'. what would you guys recommend? how much do you think think i could get a good amp to power all of this?

here are a few videos of setups that i really like. let me know if anyone on here has anything for sale or knows a place where i could buy these from. thanks a lot.

..remember this is going in a jeep so i dont think space is really an issue.

tight, how much do you think that would all cost? is the xxx 15 just a spl based sub or is the sq good as well? do you guys get them off of websites or would if be cheaper to buy them used from someone off of here?

in that box the xxx is one of the best sql subs, but lets say for pricing

xxx=350-400

md2=400

box=200 to have someone build it; or ~80 to do it yourself

so probably a little less than 1 grand, these are all estimates though

there are also cheaper amps than the md2, although it would be hard to beat the quality of usamps, a PA A3000 would power a XXX 15 nicely, and i built my box off 43$ because i had to use 2 sheets of wood, but i already had screw, caulk and glue, carpet and all

marelyskater420 was running a xxx 15 i think in his cherokee. you might want to talk to him about it. he is a nice guy and always willing to help.

oh thanks. i sent marleyskater a message. i didnt think it would be that expensive. maybe i should try the one that bamaboy has or just go with a nice 3 12' inch sub setup. what other 15" subs are good but not way out of price range? im only 17 and this is my first setup, but i want somethin that sounds good but beats hard haha. maybe i should just get a amp from someone off of here and then just go buy everything else. the amp seems to be the most expensive

oh i have a ok deck i guess you could say, its a alpine CDM-7681. i can adjust the sub output and all of that. but idk. the speakers are just the stock ones in the jeep.
