If an amp is 1000 watts x 1 at 4 ohms, and you have 2 subs which run at 2 ohms, how much power would be going into each sub? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

If you run two 4 ohm subs in parallel to create a 2 ohm load on a 1000 wattsX1 at 1 ohm amp, then you would roughly get 250 watts per sub. If you used the same sub set up and bridged a two channel amp that can produce 1000 wattsX1, then each sub would receive roughly 500 watts. If this is confusing then post your sub discription and wiring configuration and amplifier.

he said his amp is 1000 x 1 @ 4ohms not 1 ohm...........

If your amp is really 1000 x 1 @ 4 ohms I would say you would get 1500 x 1 @ 2 ohms easy
