That's a new one, clean bass with a bandpass. If you want clean bass go for sealed, if you want a more bass with a little less clarity go for ported. By all means avoid bandpass, it'll give you nothing but trouble.

sealed is actually more for hard *** hittin bass but bandpass is just cleaner to me, I have always gone for sealed b/c i have had competition systems. Think what u want

So you are saying you use sealed enclosures for SPL comps?

You use sealed for competitions?? Are you in SQ comps? Cause if you use sealed for SPL comps and you go against somebody with the exact same setup as you, only they will use a ported box, you will lose. I don't think i've ever heard a 'clean' bandpass. Sorry but they are not made for clear sound.
