I had my mind made up to get a 1 JL 13W7:thumbupw until i herad a friend of mind with 2 Kicker 12"L5 in his trunk the crazy thing about it is that i was like a block away.

now doing a little research i discovered that JL is big money and Kicker is reasonable money. so my question to all you experts out there, now i'm looking for the kinda of bass that sounds nice and smooth from a distance and will still make your heart skip a beat if you wanted to know what that felt like.
so what would be better in your opinion, since the 13w7 is to a lot of money, 2 12W7's or 2 12L5's in a 2000 max. i wouldn't know what amp to use i was thinking something around the 1000/1 watt zone.
