Ok im selling my other amp for $200 casue its a sorry amp.

Now for my new amp i need atleast a 1000 watt amp and id like for it to be NEW not refurbished and it needs to be a good name brand im willing to spend up to $200.

You can get a Hifonics BX1500D that puts out like 1150rms @ 1ohm-12.5v and you can get it for 220 + shipping on ebay.

That amp may be overrated but its a pretty solid and reliable amp.

Yea i like the hifonics amps, but im only gonna pay a lil more if i cant find one i like for under 200.

Plus since im only having a single sub for a few years should i go with a mono amp?

uh correct me if im wrong but arent those amps u listed way under 1000 watts even at 1 ohm. I thought u said u need at least a 1000 watts rms. juss my $.02

Well this for a 12" type r so yes i need an amp that runs 1000 watts rms sorry.

Do u think the 1000 watts rms will be ok for it ive heard of other ppl doing it, this will be used daily.

ok can you tell us more about the sub? 2ohm or 4 ohm. I like the viper d1200.1 running on 2 ohms?

It doesnt matter i havent got the speaker yet i want the amp first incase i decide to use some other subs i have until i get my type r.
