I need a new Battery, What brand should I get?

I am looking for a new battery today for my blazer and I was wondering what is a good car audio Battery? I have been looking at Optima, Odyessey, and kinetic. Which one is best and will give me the best results?? Thanks.

I am running 2 amps, 500w rms sub amp and a 100w rms 4 channel, so 600w rms total for the system, 4 gauge wiring, 100A fuse under the hood, (3) 12" subs.

well if you are wanting one for your audio, you dont need one for that really, unless you just absolutely want one.

but if you are talking for your vehicle, under the hood, I would go with an optima redtop

What I was looking for was something with a lot of power. Because i see alot of the car audio pros using kinetic or Odyssey batteries under the hood. Do these batteries give you more juice and power, as far as CCA and volts. I dont want a battery that will kill my alternator. I know red tops run about $160 and Yellow tops $190, and the odyssey and kinetics run over $200, now if i was to pay more money would i get more? thanks.

Do not buy a red top. They are only slightly better than a normal car battery and they are not deep cycle.

I would at least go with a yellow top under the good. A G31 if you can fit it. Out of all you mentioned the odessey is the best.

I will see if my shop has either the Optima Yellow top or the odyssey PC1230. Which would you go with, the odyssey or optima yellow top??

I like the odessey. Liquid free agm and very low resistance is great for car audio.
