rights mean jackshit to most police officers these days. i once got in an accident, not my fault, but i had a suspended license. cop asked if he could search my car, with no reason at all. i told him no. he informed me that my telling him no made him think i had something to hide, and he was going to search it because of that, which he did. another time a cop told me basically the same thing, except he said instead of just searching it, he was going to call a drug dog and let the dog go through my car to see if he needed to search it. both of these shameful incidents occured in salina kansas.

You can be arrested for a suspended license, so he didnt need to ask you anything if he didnt want to and he could impound your vehicle.

^^word to that one..a loud *** muscle car/motor cycle/and power tools (stuffs gotta get done but for example) are ok but the second they hear alil bumbp bump people freak..its because loud systems are generaly a younger thing and if they dont like it their the ones who are in city council meetings voting against it

or how about these ice cream trucks that drive around my neighborhood at 9 am waking me up with music you can hear well over a block away? not that i think its cool at all to drive around slamming people houses out, but it seems like a double standard.

the first bold thing is ILLEGAL and you should of taken legal action. not sure how long ago that was and if you got any witnesses, but you are probably out of luck as im assuming it was a long time ago.

unfortunately #2 is completely legal, which is bullshit anyways but you can thank our lawmakers for that one...

btw, i dont let any cop search my car. if they have to ask, they don't have the right to do it in the first place.

so they brought the dog INTO your car?! i assumed they brought it and searched the outside of the car. only way they would be allowed in is if the dog alerted to something from outside....

and yet you took no legal action??????

i dont understand how hard it is for you guys to lock your doors when you get out of the car...

I had an Air Force officer, a captain, tell my Chief that my system was loud enough to make her kindneys hurt. And that was only off a JL 500/1 and a RE SExxx ported. No where near the handling capability. No ticket or trouble though.

the only thing that really pisses me off about them calling the dogs is the dog always hits on something. which is bullshit. but when the cop states "our dogs are TRAINED to hit on illegal drugs" i just reply "your dog is TRAINED to do wtf ever you need it to do so you can illegally search my car." sometimes they will search and not find anything. sometimes they just leave me alone. but under certain conditions i will let the cops search my vehicle but i make very clear that i know they can only search within my reaching distance or a passengers reaching distance. really pisses them off when i know certain things like this.
