i know ppl lie about stupid like that to make u look bad...but how much power do u actually need to shake a lady's coffee from down the street? roughly 75-100 ft away.

a shit load lol...

your mother doesn't think im a snot nosed kid.
that was a dumb remark to post on this forum(even though it fits in perfectly)

Some cops ****.. some dont end of story.

Some of those ticket sound outrageous just for pumpin some bass and the rest of you guys don't act like you don't play ur shit loud occasionally on public roads. We know everyone does once in a while //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

I used to play my shit loud as hell with my windows down but i turn it down when:

1: im at a stop light

2: i see old people

3: im driving right next to the same cars for more then a few seconds

4: when cops are around

basically i let people hear me, just not long enough for anyone to get mad or annoyed.

(sound reasonable enough or not?)

but now i have no system =( shoot me:*******:

theres nothing missing, whats sad was its only 1000 watts and sealed.
no whats sad is your dumb *** let the cops take advantage of you.

hard time believeing your story as well. you dont get arrested for nothing, and you dont get your car searched for nothing. either your lying, or your an idiot that doesnt know his rights.

im with the OP on this one sorry. although i dont intentionally blast my music to get attention, AND i turn my shit down at red lights, i DID spend a ton of money on electrical and audio upgrades, whose to ****ing say i cant listen to my shit how loud i want?

everyone says its people like the OP who make new car audio laws come into effect...wrong, its people like you guys who ***** to the city/county that god forbid someone is listening to their music to loud for your tastes. wow your gonna hear bass for 3-4 seconds as they pass your house. boo ****ing hoo

Turn the volume down?

Holy crap , there's a novel idea //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well yesterday it was 4 in the afternoon and I was driving to the store to get some things. Well I passed up a donut shop with my sub playing and drove about a quarter mile down the road before i stopped at a light. Well a cop comes blazing down the road with his sirens blaring so I pulled near the curb so he can get by. well he stops behind me so I turn off my car and he walks up and asks for my liscense. I give it to him he looks over it and says "under 18, ill just have to take it." I ask why, because its 4 in the afternoon, not light I woke up anybody. He goes "cause its illegal and nobody wants to hear it idiot." Right there I was pissed but i kept my cool and stayed respectful. He then says that he was in the coffee shop (nice cover **** balls, it was a donut connection) and an old lady says her coffee was shaking and she couldn't hear her radio that I guess was playing." So he asks for my dads number and my dad not knowing it was a cop starts talking. Cop explains the story not revealing his identity and my dad goes "that must of been a killer system.." Jesus christ I should of just took the cops gun and shot myself. Well long story short he comes back to my car, gives my license and says "if I ever catch you again for anything ill cost you so much money you'll wish you've never seen a speaker. When I get home my dad says the cop told him it's a 600 dollar ticket and my system jacked for 1st offence. Well I looked it up just now and its a $75 ticket. What a prick cop, I hope he gets shot on duty.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I would have laughed at him, and asked him if he wanted to give this statement to my lawyer. Then if he wrote me a ticket for and showed up in court which he wouldn't, I would have explained to the judge how I had a 30.00 speaker from walmart. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

our cops seriously dont mind it. we dont have enough old people to complain and our systems arent mild or anything. theres a cop that lives down my street that told me his walls were vibrating when i had my L7 goin but he didnt mind it (or tell me that he minded it).

i should mention i do not bump at residential areas.

i got 2 tickets

#1 was for loud music when i was driving at around noon on a BUSY street with lots of traffic and everyone driving roughly 50 mph. was i bothering anyone? i doubt it.

#2 was as i was entering downtown off a freeway. hmm, you think i was bugging people on the freeway with my music?

so thats why i may come off as being a retard, or dick, or what have you, on my opinion about noise ordinances. however if you do blast your shit at top volume at red lights, late at night, or through residential areas (like the ones that have 15mph signs and speed bumps) you deserve a ticket, so **** off.

I like to play my system loud enough for people to notice and when they do I too look around like I don't know where it is coming from. Then I give the head shake like, "stupid kids."

Seriously our stereos are our personal choices. We choose to spend the money, we do the installs, we may even like to listen to it loud. However, when we roll down the windows and bump, we are making choices for others. I don't want other people to make my decisions for me so I keep my windows up or my stereo down.

im with you on that. i dont bump in my neighborhood, at redlights or traffic. other than that i bump all to hell. the noise ordinances laws should only be used in residential areas, or in traffic, other than that, they need to just leave us the **** alone.

not that i disagree with you but heres the catch 22...

when they tell us we cant bump our systems so they are noticible for over 50 feet....are they not making choices for you and me?

what im trying to say is, everyone needs to relax. usually those who are dicks about their systems have them stolen soon enough.
