What the hell does "power a set of 10's well" even mean? How vague that comment is...what 10's are we talking about, what kind of box are they in, etc.? I doubt that sony amp couple power a pair of MT/BTL/LVL5/Omega/Nightshade/HDC/(insert pretty much any 1kw+ sub here) very well at all.

no ****, the amp can only do 500 watts, so how could it power 2 10's that can take 500+ each if the amp is only going to push 250 each?

I'm not saying it couldn't move a pair of 500rms subs, but to "power them really well" in a normal sized sealed/ported install, you'd need more power. I'm just pointing out that phrases like that, along with "man my 10's hit like a pair of 12's" mean absolutely nothing.

I can't believe it but the deal went through,everything listed for a 100$,he even threw in extra screens and a old pioneer flip out,The guy pulled up with his mom! Very sweet deal,and everything works!I even chunked him an extra 30$,check the pics!...........

Dude, lets be realistic. Who would EVER buy a Sony amp (besides old school ones) and run 2 of any size sub that could take 500rms? If you bought a newer Sony amp, you probably got it from Wal-mart and got a POS Sony, JVC, or Pioneer sub to match it.

Now that being said, the Black 1000w Sony amps (380rms@4ohm) can actually do some decent bass when matched with the JVC 12" (250rms/800WP) in the 1.25cf "Build your own" box that you can buy from wal-mart

Its a waste of ~$240. but lucky me, i didn't pay for most of it and for a grand total of $10 I'm not going to ***** about how it sounds

Alright switched the "dar" and it picked you up feggo,and this wasn't to upgrade anything,just make some extra bucks, and i'm doin a 144.5 sealed from the trunk in the kick,what are your numbers madam?

i always put my empty shotgun in the trunk trunk when i do a craigslist dealand the first thing i ask is want to see my setup? then when i pop the trunk im like opps didn';t mean to leave that in there and wrap it in a dirty towel.
