Just got of the phone with my personal claims adjuster and she told me from the sound of it after hitting the deer, they may total my blazer which means I get a new truck o.0

All I have to pay is my $500 deductible and got a free tow to the shop of my choice along with a check for $500 over the estimated amount. So basically my deductible is already paid lol!!

Appraiser will be here in the morning or tomorrow afternoon to look it over and give me an estimate. I hit the deer which in return jacked my front end up pretty good causing the front bumper on my blazer to almost break off and the front fender is a crumbled piece of metal.

SO...the following will be replaced:

1. Headlights
   
2. Corner lenses
   
3. Grille
   
4. Heater will be fixed
   
5. Rear end will be fixed
   
6. Front fender will be fixed
   
7. The plate/brackets behind the headlights which hold the headlights in place will be fixed
   
8. new bumper
   
9. new valance and fog/driving lights replaced

yep my insurance agent told me I didn't have to pay insurance on either of my vehicles this month and actually sent me a check for $39.41.

State farm. They only did it because I added another car to my policy last month. Insurance is cheaper for me to have full coverage on my focus in my dads name and liability on the accord in my name than just to have full coverage on the focus in my name. If that makes sense.

same thing happend for me, Its cheaper for me to have me a full time driver on a honda than be on my 4runner

lol, I gotcha man. I only got the blazer, so its in my name which isnt bad really for me being 20(21 in jan) and with full coverage on it. $210 a month, which includes a $500 comp deductible. So far they have proven to make themselves a good company and trustworthy!

I think that just means you can't drive it to get it fixed.

I bought a totaled blazer and fixed it with my dad as my first car, it barely was totaled and it had the same damage you said, but it was on both sides and it BARELY was totaled.

I think that just means you can't drive it to get it fixed.

well hopefully its not totaled, I love my blazer. Easier to get loud. But if it is, then it is...no biggie. Just want to get it fixed is my main priority:veryhapp:

**** kid I pay about 140 a month for both vehicles. 96 accord 4dr and 2000 focus 4dr and like I said the focus is full coverage. And I'm only 21 also

State Farm is about the only decent insurance company left. I have my homeowners through them, as well as full coverage on the truck, the mustang, and the bike. They even wrote me a classic policy on the van with an agreed value of 28k. I'm limited to 5000 miles a year on the van, but it's covered for anything that could possibly happen. Because I have everything insured through them, my rate is super cheap.

Its a percentage of the vehicles value.
