well you could try retracing your steps.. I lost my wallet and some nice old couple mailed it back to me but I sent them money back for postage

i myself never put my wallet in my back pocket. I always keep it in my side pocket thats closest tot he waste. This way while i am walking i kinda hit my wallet everytime with my hand just to make sure i have it in there. God knows how many wallets i have lost in the past 9 years... ...5.
