Try pulling it witin 8" of the trunk ...always louder to me ..good place to start ..then u can slowly push it back and see if u lose or gain output to find the optimal spot

TURN THE FUUUCKING BOX AROUND!!!!! what is the fad that thinks sealed forward is the way to go ...ive tried it 3 diff times and sounded like azz with half.the output ..it doesnt work in every car ..and the loudest teunks in the world arent sealed off..load that bish off the trunk and if ur box is built decent it will sound 100x better

The loudest trunks do fire forward though, with box all the way back but they all burp over 60Hz.

I've always liked the sound of firing forward better as normally you will peak higher. But usually doesn't play as low since wave doesn't have time to fully propogate. Mine doesn't kill the lows, but a few other guys on my team with forward firing dual 15's do. They both run Nightshades though...

Normally you'd want to fire it forward if you have a cheap trunk that has incurable loud rattle syndrome where no amound of deadening and CCF can help.

OP if this isn't the same amp as before then check your SSF to make sure it's not set too high...

Decaf has 2 15's that do a 50+ in the 30's sealed up and a 53+ in the kick.

Not so bad then, won't be way below vehicle peak. I peak at 51Hz, higher then when I had a wall. So low 30's get ZERO cabin gain...

Did you have any peaks below 30hz, for all the good they'd do you, haha. My car peaks at 51 as well, I also have pretty good peak at 26hz too though.
