So i bought this stuff almost a year ago and still haven't installed it...One buddy said he would but never gets around to it...And I am pretty much scared to damage amp, sub, my truck etc...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif So now i decided i need a project. I not sure if these products are even compatible, I did go cheap on the speakers though...Please someone help...This is what i have to work with...

2000 Ford F-150 single regular cab truck...

I have Three

Dual xp10b 10inch sub woofer speakers

* 10-inch car stereo sub woofer

* Handles 125 watts RMS power, 375 watts peak power

* Mid-Q design allows for ported or sealed box use

* Red polypropylene cone, rubber surround

* Black stamped-steel basket

Technical Details

* Speaker size: 10 inches

* Design: Sub woofer

* Cone material: Red polypropylene

* Power handling, RMS: 125 watts

* Power handling, peak: 375 watts

* Frequency response: 28 Hz - 100 Hz

* Sensitivity: 87 dB

* Nominal impedance: 4 ohms

And I have Three

Audiobahn a4002T Car Amplifiers

Details:

» 100 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms

» 200 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms

» 400 watts RMS x 1 bridged output

» stereo or bridged mono output

» Tri-way capable (Tri-Way Crossover required)

» MOSFET power supply

» 8-gauge power and ground leads recommended — wiring and hardware not included with amplifier

» 40-amp fuse

» 50-750 Hz high-pass/50-120 Hz low-pass crossover, 18 dB/octave

» 18 dB bass boost at 50 Hz (switchable on/off)

» variable (20-50 Hz) subsonic filter

» preamp outputs

» cooling fan

» cobalt blue illumination

» speaker- and preamp-level inputs

» 11-5/16"W x 2-3/8"H x 10-7/8"D

The only way I can think of mounting the amp is attached to the back of the seat...the main thing i need i supposed is proper wiring from the amps to the speakers and what gauge cables for everything..,thats IT! I don't even know what gauge wires to buy for the power or speaker wire...And i bought that stuff cause thats what i was told i needed for some quality sound...I not trying to beat anyone with bass i just wanna jam loud and clear...Ive posted pics of my stuff too..just found that part out...that is a very nice feature on this site...I love it...Ill try to take better ones tomorrow

Advanced thanks to anyone with feedback!

Maybe just a diagram...or a link...something...anything....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Someone...Anyone...!

Alright man i will help you step by step since it seem's you were in a situation that i was in when i first started with car audio so i know how that is. alright first thing your gonna wanna do is get:

The wiring

*eight guage power wire measure how long u will need it in feet and also your ground wire

* a 8 guage fuse holder with fuse probably 100 or 150 anl fuse would be fine

* a set of rca wires again measure how long u need em to be.

*remote wire which is usually blue 16or 14 guage wire ran for the remote.

Ok got the wiring set now for the actual install don't be scared man you will learn:).

****BEFORE YOU DO ANY OF THIS MAKE SURE YOUR NEGATIVE TERMINAL IS OFF OF YOUR BATTERY****

Step 1: find the grommet on your firewall its a little piece of round rubber you can get the power wire through.

Step 2: run the power wire through the gromet take out the interior side pieces run the wire underneath the carpet *PLEASE don't do it through the door jam*

Step 3: once you have your power wire ran to the back go back up front and cut a piece of the wire off put the fuse in the middle then hook the power wire to the postive terminal of the battery.

Step 4: take out your headunit on the back u should see red and white output's put the rca's in there then run those to the back of your amp .

Step 5: while still having out your headunit look for a blue wire or blue wire with a white stripe strip a small piece of that wire in the middle and tie the remote wire into it wrap in electrical tape run that to the back also.

Step 6: once you have all your wiring back to the back for your amp run those wires to where there go the power wire u ran will be in the amp part that says power , 12v or something like that run that there screw that screw in strip wire first , then run the remote wire also to the amp will say rem.

Step 7: find a good ground in your car something no more then 2 1/2 ft from your amp always sand the paint off to make sure u have a good ground run ground wire from that to amp where it says grnd.

Ok so let's go through a run down so far have the wiring to the back done , wiring all hooked up in headunit and the amp. now it's time to wire up the sub's

Step 1: get the sub manual read what kind of sub it is SVC which means single voice coil or dvc which means Dual voice coil read up more of that on bcae1.com

Step 2: once u get the subs wired up put in the box make sure all screws are tighted down tight and no air spaces if so will sound like sh*t and u will hear it.

Step 3: run the wires u just hooked up to the sub to the terminals on the back or side of the box red is positive black in negative .

Step 4: hook the battery terminal back up take a listen

Step 5: listen for rattles , clipping sounds , sub not following the music , make sure that both subs are working.

There is a good run down of how to start anymore questions be sure to ask me or anyone else on this forum:).
