i'm getting asked about soundsplinter an adire... considering i never even heard of them until i got on here where do they stack up?

Well it will be a cold day n hell before I give up my 12" Brahma MK1 for another sub. Best sub I have ever owned. I never heard a SS or RE though. I have heard plenty mainstream drivers including JL of course and the Brahma is a clear winner among them for my tastes. Great SQ with a fair amount of output. I think it makes a great DD.

Nope, i never got to hooked it up but i got a sweet offer so i had to sell it. I might get an XXX18 or just wait out for the new line wich will start shipping in january. The new line will just be $50-70 more.

Not to mention, as of now, the only way we know there will even be a 15" version of the new XXX is via assumption. They've only discussed releasing a 12 so far. Probably will be a 15, but will likely be released even later than this 12 we've been waiting for.

Normally I would agree, but I think that part of the reason for the pushbacks was to ensure that there is sufficient supply to match the demand for the new drivers.

hey how do u think a 12" XXX would sound with an orion 1200D in 1 ohm?? or i have an mtx 1501d to give it 1700 watts @ 1 ohm.. will the mtx/xxx setup sound better than my orion1200d/idmax setup?
