I have yet to see anyone use this amp?

From the DAT testing it appears to do similar power on a 12v system at 1 ohm +/- a hundred or two watts -- although, DAT does NOT suggest 0.5 ohm operation or 16v electrical systems, both of which the 3000D will handle quite well. I would stick with their recommendation not to do either of those things.

DAT is concentrating on the dealer market - so that is where their prices are targeted. I hear they have a competitor program, though.

We are working hard to gain dealers in the market. However we also sell direct.
