highly efficient 3k+ amp

i might swap my old brutus 2006d with something else pretty soon, but don't have the money to upgrade my electrical for the moment.

i've got a 90amp alty, big 3 done, 0 awg to the back g31 batt (110ah) and stock 60ah under the hood. atm, with my current system, i never drop under 13v. I'm running the bxi200d at 1ohm.

if i were to upgrade for some more power, what amp should i look into? i'll probably end up buying more g31 later on... I never bump at full tilt for a long time, so a small batterie bank should get the job done. 95% of the time, i'm just blending the subs with the frontstage

any idea on what to get? efficient and powerfull (3.5k-4k) that can solid enough to stand some voltage drop over few secs....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif oh yeah on a budget too. say around 500$

3-4k will be a lil harder on electrical even if efficient.

may need to upgrade with some more batts or bigger ones

Just set your gain to where your not dropping voltage past 12 volts and you'll be fine. Just add a battey when you want more power, problem solved.

Yeah i'm taking care of my stuff.... i wouldn't let it drop under 12v. I'm alway monitering my voltage when bumping and making sure the amp doesn'T get too warm.

oh yeah, what kind of power can i expect at 12.5v @ 1ohm?

Personally I've never clamped them before but I would expect around 3000 or so.

AQ3500 is the best choice for the money

Audiopipe aqx-3500 is the best choice. But as for customer service if you have a problem with audioque you can talk to dj on almost any car audio forum.

i thought the AP30001D was since they are $100 cheaper than the 3500 and only 500w less.

I tested one doin lil over 1,240w at 7.3 ohms so they are pretty powerful.

Haha big difference.... The aqx3500 is fan cooled will run at .5 all day long without getting hot,will burp .25, will accept higher voltages, clamped 3674 @ 1ohm and 3822 @ .5
