Why would they cut the wires when it is far easier to turn a damn screwdriver? Who carries bolt cutters in their car?
I don't know about that one. I think I would have grounds to file a suit. I also keep copies of reciept/registration/etc just in case the police think it is stolen.

I asked an Akron cop about that, he said thats what they do.

I just get pissed that cops think they can do what ever they want, and I don't know where you come from but around here they teach you to be a man and stand up for yourself. I like the cops because they keep dickheads from taking over my neighborhood with their "I should be able to do anything I want attitudes".

Maybe if you went down the police station and offered to be pivot man yourself, they'd throw out the ticket.

You're not going to get much sympathy from anybody other than other kids. Being held accountable for your actions is a part of adulthood.

A county nearby has a city ordinace that if they here your music more then 74 feet away they impound your car and you have to post bail on the charge. Needless to say mine isnt loud in that county.

This thread was meant for other people to explain similar situations they've had with the police. It's not intended for people standing up for 'justice' or how they feel about cops. So can we please stick to the topic at hand, or someone please close this thread, because fighting isn't getting us anywhere.

I can relate to that and i feel the same way you do. On May 5 i was playing music and all of a sudden when i was about to go home i lowered my music down and a bycycle cop hears me and pulls me over . I left it easy for him and when he asked if i knew why he puled me over i said yep, my sterio. wrote me up and i was on my way home. . . my insurance was not legit so he let me slide but yesterday i got the ticket for ( amplified devices ) and it said bail: 150$ . . should i appear in court or just pay it. . . first time i get a stupid ticket last one was a seatbelt ticket. wat should i do , i dont want to pay that shit i want my nsb 90 in my rex!
