I have a 300 watt 2 channel amp lying around my room and my brothers truck has a factory amp for his door speakers and i want to know what i would need and if it would even work for me to hook my amp up to my door speakers

well if i understand correctly you want to hook that amp up to your factory speakers? doubt it will sound that great but you need a line out convertor to get an RCA signal for the amp, then some speaker wire to run to the speakers...also power/ground/remote wire for the amp...or just an amp kit

if they are factory speakers then it might get louder but i don't know about the sound quality...most systems with "factory amps" have somewhat upgraded factory speakers as well. You should definitely consider buying some after market speakers in the near future...they sound WAY better than factory

oh i got aftermarkit speakers but thanks for the sugestion and hey could i run the REM from the same REM on the other amp

ok then yes it should sound better and I don't think I understand, you DO have another amp hooked up right now?

yeah and i want to know if i can splice into the rms wire and not mess anything up

well if you mean the remote turn on wire then yeah it can usually power 2 maybe 3 amps but if you go above that you should use a relay to prevent damage to the HU
