I have a question.....

Do the math. It's all based on wavelength and listening position.

Wavelength = speedofsound / frequency.

1120-1130 ft/sec is the range for the speed of sound, varies with humidity/temp/barometric pressure/etc.

You want direct and reflected to be coherent at you metering location.

Where you place the sub(s) determine what room modes you excite

Where you listen determines which room modes you hear/measure
