i have a big problem

ok so i ordered 2 Audioque HCD3 15s a week ago and when ups delivered them and i took them out the box one of the subs is fine but one has a dent right below the "aq" symbol. What the hell am i suppose to do about this?? Is there anyway i can pull the dent out and not have to order i completely new sub??

It will. I had to do it once with my subs before. All i did was found a rubber hose and put it right on the dent. I used a pump that i had to **** it out. Took a few trys but i got it. Ive also heard people bending the end of a pin and sticking it through and just pulling it out. You would have to be carefull with that, i never tryed it. I didnt want a hole on my cap. you probably could just **** in through a tube and get it i guess.

I had a nephew that pushed all my dust caps on my home speakers, I just used a vacum to pull them back out.
those are weak as paper cones the AQ have a thick heavy pulp cone will need more than that. i dont even think a shop vac will have the surface to get enuff suction. best bet is to go thought the pole peice of the t-yoke

I was able to do it with smaller rubber hose right in the middle with a pump, sort of like a vacumm on a cerwin vega. Not sure how strong it was compared to an AQ one though.
