I have 250 watts rms. Speaker Suggestions?

thats more than enough power for any speakers. i suggest rainbow slc 265 kicks. this forum seem to be raving about them

well i kinda just threw up the post without giving you guys all the information.

Im putting them in a little can enclosure

i need them to be 6.5" coax speakers.

I have a 4 channel amp with

90rms x4 @ 4ohms

125rms x4 @ 2 ohms

250rms x2 @ 4 ohms

Do you suggest i use all the power for the speakers??

or will 90watts be fine?

mount the tweeters on your door panels or something. coaxial arent worth being powered IMO.

oh my bad i forgot to add that the can the speaker is going in is going to be mounted onto the tower of a wakeboarding boat.

they make jl speakers in enclosures already with tweeters mounted on the side but they are way expensive

Couldn't you custom fab your own tweeter housing? Maybe use the housing you already have and then glass around it and add a tweet mount then you can use the rainbow slc-265 haha

any body have any input on the pg rsd 6.5 coax?

and i have changed my set up so i now have 90wrms x2 @ 4 ohms and 125wrms @ 2 ohms

i just need some good souding coax for the wakeboard tower, and i already have 4 component speakers inside the boat.
