I hate trying to figure out what to put into savings & checking

why not just put it all in checking? Use your check card, never really used savings.
I'm getting married in a few months. I've been saving for a while now. Got quite a bit there. If I weren't wanting a new amp I would just do a 65/35 % split into savings/checking, but since I have a $200 amp budget, I need to figure out how much I need to deposit into each. Then I need to guess food/gas expenditures. I actually have an excel file going that does it all for me...it's just a pain to have to fool with it in the first place. The next few paychecks will be a split though. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

oh come on who needs food... lol still have that d300 for sale? consider a trade for an avic n1?
I am trying to sell it to get another Alpine unit, so sorry. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Pfft... tough call. Marriage or amp..
I say just get all of your stuff bought (food and whatnot), then put whatever is left into your 'I need an amp' fund.
haha. nah, it's not that bad.

I'm not broke. I'm just trying to figure out what needed to go into which account, so I don't have to pull $ out of savings in a week.

I got it taken care of.

I should have plenty to eat on, gas, and be able to spend about $200 on an amp.

Dropped $715 into savings. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif
