yeah just got a call back from the shop that i took my truck to get the quote. gonna be about 2k+ to fix the doors the buttons and everything else they ****ed up.

Dude that sucks and I feel for you man. I vote that it was someone you knew as well. I mean ripping off the door panels for speakers you can't see.....

yeah everyone is saying that. but the place i went ive heard of other cars getting ripped there too. im almost positive that my friends didnt do it or plan it sounds kinda bad saying this but they are some of the only good friends i got and i am same to them. so i HIGHLY doubt it. and if they did do it they wouldnt rip the door panels off for 90$ speakers when there is a $150 radar dector and ipod sitting right there...

Look at it this was guys, He parked in the far back of the lot. Not all his windows are tinted and he had tons of boxes sitting in his backseat.

At this point everyone's a victim. either you were showing off before you hit the lot and someone heard you or it's an inside job. I got my Clarion took before by some jealous bastard, but they didn't rip off panels and all of that. The doors lead me to believe it was someone that was in your car before.

And then take into consideration that you were moving. You were more than likely not going to see the person who stole your stuff anyway.

But think of it this way, those speakers are hidden behind the door and you can't see them. The radar and ipod are somethings that stay out in the open....So if you were ever in the friends car that did take them, you might never know.

Just a thought though.

the speakers were not hidden at all fellas. There were no grills over them, just in plain site(exactly like the picture... Although the dumbasses dropped a cover to one of the crossovers

No alarm? Going to a parking lot with all that gear boxed up in your ride? Not a bash just two things that may have made your life easier.

Unfortunately there are little assholes driving around all the time looking to jack shit quick out of an easy target, while an alarm may not have totally stopped them if people were around I believe it would have and again going anywhere with all that gear in your car out in the wide open is just asking for trouble.

I would check local pawn shops and maybe on CL you may have some luck.

It may not have been directly one of your friends, but someone who heard from someone who heard from someone else or something that it was going on kind of thing. If you had a bunch of boxes that were pretty visible in your car then yea I guess there's a decent chance it was someone randomly checkin out cars, but was hard to tell there was anything in there, a theif wouldn't blindly break your lock open and check. If ANYONE knew about you having that stuff in ANY way, its pretty likely that it wasn't a random target.

Either way, that sucks dude I know how you feel I had my ipod stolen out of my car by way of breaking the window about a month ago...one of the shittiest feelings you can have

Most likely they'll wait a few weeks or be bringing it to friends who are constantly moving stolen stuff and know what they are doing

Man... I know the feeling... When I came up to my truck to find my handles pried off my truck, locks pulled out, cda9827 gone, 2 amps gone, power inverters gone I got sick. The dumb as$es also failed to remove the wires from the amps before yanking and actually pulled part of the internals out so the amp was useless for them! I at least wish someone was enjoying the 1500 watts of directed goodness, but instead they ruined the amp permanently. These dumb ***** even attempted to pry the subwoofers (Maw15s) out of the box with a tiny flat head.... dumb as$ses... Hope you get your stuff back...

After my house was broke into I lost hope but after a couple of weeks, I did get "some" of my stuff back.
