Unfortunately, ethics means nothing in the insurance industry. Anything that should be done isnt always what is covered. If it is overhanging his property, it becomes his problem if I recall correctly from hurricane katrina raping a neighbor's tree into ours, and subsequently our roof.

Yeah. insurance companies will stop at nothing to not have to pay out anything. THeyd lose money otherwise.
