Anywho, nice Tc bro. My girl thought about getting one. Have you took it to the track after s/c install or dyno it?? what kind of time and power does it make? I think we have decieded on the subaru legacy Gt tho, with tune and exhaust that 4 door will do a 12.8 . enough to knock a charger down or a 300C haha.

Which power adder you use has nothing to do with the fact of it being domestic or import. All depends on application. I would actually prefer a turbo on my GTO as opposed to SC. Turbos are more efficient. They don't rob the engine of power(parasitic loss) to make their power. An SC for the most part makes a large amount of boost right from the start though, whereas a turbo builds up. Turbos are easier to achieve ungodly amounts of boost from, something high revving low compression 4 bangers love(hence why you see them on imports more). Neither one is really better than the other no matter what motor though.

Don't get me wrong it is a good car, but in stock trim it is way overrated, especially considering the price of admission on it. For the money it cost to legally own and rive one on US streets, you could build something to stomp it dick in the dirt.

I know of a certain import with a 2.6 that will eat your mach 1 and shit out a focus more specifically what is pictured above

Stock Mach1 will do 13.1 in the 1/4
Stock R33 does 14.0

Stock R34 does 13.7

Much cheaper to buy and mod a Mach1

Hey Deman, glad you know ur $hit. You know, i ran a 12.96 stock with my mach. And i paid $24,700 for it haha. What mods do you have on GTO ?

SNB, you know what a Grand National is??? know what it used STOCK. Also, i know couple honda's that run jackson racing S/C, and that Scion TC has S/C as well. . Not to mention all of our AMERICAN diesel's use turbo's . Doesnt matter what you use, as long as it makes you faster.

I currently have no mods at all besides my stereo lol. My wife bought us a nice new home with my mod money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Soon or later I want to put an STS rear mount turbo on it. Drop a better cam in, injectors, fuel pump and then an 1800RPM stall. That would give me all the power I need.

desertheat, nice times for mods, get some DR for front to help with spinning. ALso check out the water/meth injection, it will help alot. I like the way the Tc looks, in a way reminds me of skyline in front hehe.
