Actually it was Clarion that owned McIntosh, not Alpine. Clarion was the reason McIntosh Car Audio was introduced. I forget who owns them now...

I was aware of the Clarion/Mc tie in, and was surprised to find Alpine mentioned. I guess it was a bad source.

Wow at that price no one is going to buy it. What a fool.

Maybe $1k on a good day, but most people in SQ that I know would rather shell out for an amp that says "mcintosh" on it way before one that says "luxman"
