i got my windows tinted

I want to get the front windshield tinted because you can see my wall now... I was thinking of 70% or something really light because my 5% all around would make the front seem darker, but after some of these pics I've been thinking about even darker.
Another thing... with no tint on front and DARK tint right next to you, it hurts your eyes from being so bright.

VJ: How has your driving ability been affected by the front windshield tinting? Would you recommend any lighter or is 5% fine? I do a lot of night driving, but I have all my windows down unless I'm parked... love the Florida wind.

70% is about the same as a stock untinted window...

Go for 35-20% on the windshield

thanks for the responses, i like how i leave for a few hours and come back to 8 pages of bs...

to the people asking where i got it done at...Expert Tint, they have one in Frisco, and one that just opened up in plano, it was 159 for it, but the windshield strip was an extra 20, and i get a lifetime warranty on it...and someone asked where i live, Rowlett.

dunno what part of Arkansas you are in but up here they don't care about window tint. I have 5% all the way around(except front of course) and have never had problems, or in conway either for that matter.

Btw it does **** backing out at night, I always look at whats behind me before getting in my truck but still roll the windows down.

i got my windows tinted 15% for 165 in el reno at auto fx. i was thinking about having the windshield done too but idk. i wish my windows were darker tho, cuz during the day, you can see right thru it practically. thinking about doing either 10 or 5 on top of the 15. i think my car looks great with the dark tint (red escort).

got a lifetime warranty and have the receipt in my glovebox. legal is 35% which is barely darker than stock tint on alot of vehicles. i could've gotten limo tint for 210 iirc.

they did a GREAT job. DID NOT BUBBLE AT ALL after it was done. great guys.

5% 3 back windows 50% front two.

brow was pre-tinted.

at the right time of day you can see the outlines of whats in my truck too. 5% all around. or if i park infront of something white

ya im dissapointed in my tint now, the bubbles havent gone away, they arent small, some were the size of dimes on one window, i just noticed the other front window has a bunch of small bubbles, and my dad just told me that the windshield strip is all jagged, which for some reason i havent noticed that.

people that live in dallas, stay away from Expert Tint, at least the one in plano.

credit card to push all the bubbles out while glue is still wet. advantages of doing it yourself..

i tried that when i got home and noticed it, but i couldnt get them out. i got some of them to move, but i couldnt get them all the way out. ill take pics of what im talking about, they did a shi**y job.
