Thats the mess- notice the Polk Dx motor I used to find my drill bits/screws/housepets when I dropped them in the sawdust- you might also note that this is not a workshop but a screened in porch family room. I had swept up a bunch already here....

i love useing table routers, i come home everyday from work covered in MDF

The finished product after four hours of trimming, sanding gluing etc. The port opening is pretty fugged and there is a place where the slabs don't meet flush, but not too bad for third time, I guess.

Too bad it's going in a ghetto box...

I drove with it today 1000 watts to 1ohm, efficiency WAY up from sealed, shakes everything pretty nice, makes my ears ring. Not as low and rich as my L7 15" though, but the Bhrama makes up for that in cleanliness!

Liquid nails fumes kill though, I didn't even remember I started working on the box until I stumbled over it the next morning...

I definitely got MDF ***** though, will have to take it more seriously next time, cut pieces wrong alot and spent a ton of time screwing off with bad cuts...

My first box was an old speaker box made out of 1/8th inch particle board. The original speakers were a 3" woofer/mid and a 2" tweet/mid.

I hacked it up and put a 10" sub in it, filled up the gaps with cardboard and rope caulk, and stuffed the box with socks. When it hit it would "crawl" along the floor of my room until the wires would pull out of it, lol.

leave the gaps open and call it ported. you will need more port area w/ this method though......
