I got totally owned, building a box for my Bhrama, cut a couple pieces wrong, assembled 25% of the box, then got pissed. I have .5" gaps at each end so you can look in an see the motor, lol. I cut pieces wrong left and right too, used a whole sheet of MDF.

There would be pics, i cant stand up straight from liquid nails fumes, and the box is on a table, couldn't shoot it from the floor...

Laugh at me, I need it. On a better note, i cut the moutning ring perfectly-a first.

No I eitther need to liquid nails some scraps in the ends or get a whole new sheet of the good stuff... Whaddya all think? Ghetto of perfectionist?

The box is for me, not for a coustomer, too dumb tto thing rite now...

Id just get another sheet of mdf and start over. Might as well do it right the first time ya know. I have to say this though. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/needpics.gif.edd6d28e76618c28c46f343991bcced5.gif

Omg, what a mess, it will take me hours to clean this up, lol, theres like 6 inches deep sawdust and scrap, tools and shit... And when i founs out my mistake i knoecked a box of screws ont tohe whole mess.

I better rest up so i can fix all that mess in the morning.

sorry to hear that man. it always sucks when that happens. there are ghetto ways to fix it, but i wouldnt suggest any.

just try to salvage as much from the old box that you can. and dont use liquid nails. just use good ol' wood glue. its MADE for wood, and uses a chemical bond (stronger than a physical bond like LN uses). liquid nails is more of an all purpose thing. in fact, the bond between wood glue and wood, is more often than not, stonger than the wood itself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

but yea - snap some pics. and use it as a learning expierence - measure thrice, cut once. and ALWAYS cut on the outside of your line //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I already bought some LN but this makes me want to do it right with wood glue. What brand would you suggest?

Go to a glass shop and have them cut you some pieces of plexi to fit in the gaps. Then you can just tell people "Yeah, I made it that way on purpose so you can look in and see the sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif "

Just a thought :goodorbad
