i got holes in my sub but will it hit?

my jlb has 2 half dollar size holes in it because it was drop by my dad..... i patched all the crack and it hits good...its not in a box yet im about to get a 12" sub encloseure and i need to know will it be good and boomy even with the holes??? with the box??? by the way it is a jlb gt5-12 its a good sub but only powerd by a 350 kenwood amp the rms is 275watt and peak is 1100watts wiill it hit haard with the holes in the speak when i get a box??? thanks

 
yes there is holes in the cone not the rubber part but the hard plastic part here is a quick drawing i will get pics tomorrow.....how do i do the picture thing i dont know how do i have to post pic on yahoo first?

 
i second the motion for a new sub! If you really want to salvage that thing i say try a light layer of fiberglass or if you dont have access to that a good strong paper mache recipe maybe.

 
try fixing it first. focus on not making it too heavy with fiberglass and all. If you have like on of those cheap plastic folders laying arond you can glue a small bit on. I mean, you can't mess it up more than it already is.
