how do i fix this????

i have a pyramid phase3 wc 1220 12" subwoofer and i dont know whats wrong with it i cant get it to work....i cant find aany info anywhere on it... i have a jbl 12" ans it workss with the amp so i hook this up and nothing happend so i think it hass to do with the wire that runs to the inside of the sub or the connector on the out side of the sub is lose also .... i was wondering can you take of the center of the sub woofer that has the name of the sub and fix the wires aND THEN LIKE APOXY it back to place..... please write back i dont want to waste a ok sub if i can help it...

no underneath the dust cap is a voice coil

put a dmm on the coils and see if they read ok. if not chuck it out. not worth fixing.

i say if it doesnt work when you hook it up, its not worth fixing unless you paid some good money for it, or reallllllly like the sub alot to invest the money into fixing it.

ok well my jlb has to holes in them....i got for 5 dollars.....and it hits but i dont got in a box yet.....when i put it in the box will it still sound good???

how big are the holes? where are the holes?(cone, dust cap, etc.)

if the sub doesnt sound any better in a box, there is another bigger problem on your hands. Pyramid is not a very good company for audio FYI.
