so I finally got bored with my type r 10's.

I was playing around and came up with this.

Which lead to buying these

here is how much they move max volume 20hz. Think I want to double my power.

bevels were hand sanded so don't tell me how bad they ****, I don't care. I'll be doing 3-4 boxes to get it perfect anyway.

looks good, get you a router and a nice shaving bit to do your beveled edges, great investment.. makes them look perfect..

edit: power is a DD m2 at .5ohm.

Sounds and feels little louder then my 10's that put up a 147. More musical and faster responding though. I also got my 3rd row seats back as well. I think it would be louder if I took out my 3rd row and faced back.

the mouth placement to side wall is pretty close..it might help to have another inch or so..be something to play with and see. you say more musical, how high are you playing?

50hz, and it actually made no difference in sound between right up against wall and spaced away.

I figured I would see if I could do a 150 behind 3rd row with some low line boner subs. You know since I had to remove my McIntosh and custom sub out of my F1 Mclaren. I just need to Find a Sante Fe to install this in. I guess your financial worth is directly tied what equipment you run.

the only red flag I see (and I could be wrong), but in the diagram, the port looks like it is smaller at the mouth than back at the turn...I wonder if you are getting some bulging there at the mouth and if a vertical strip of wood extending back into the port might brace this area, if you were.
